Upcoming exhibitions
The School Shows offer teachers and our community the ability to showcase student artists from schools in the Newton and Jasper County region. The shows have been divided into three exhibits this year that show artworks from children in grades Kindergarten through their senior year in high school.
The Elementary artists are each presented with a ribbon for being selected to participate. This is all provided and made possible by a grant from the Jasper Newton Foundation.
Gallery Openings:
Tuesdays, Noon to 4:00 PM. February 11 & 18
Thursdays, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. February 6, 13, & 20
One Saturday, Noon to 2:00 PM. February 22nd only.
Closing Reception: First Presbyterian Church, 220 North Cullen St. Rensselaer.
Sunday, Feb 23rd. 1:30 - 3:00 PM CST - Awards will be given promptly at 1:30 PM.

The High school show is a juried show with Honorable Mention and Awards of Excellence given to select pieces chosen by a professional juror. This is all provided and made possible by a grant from the Jasper Newton Foundation.

The continued purpose of the Member Show is to give PAC artists of all skill levels and media, an annual opportunity to exhibit their original art in the Lilian Fendig Gallery where PAC presents exhibitions and programs year round. We endeavor to create a diverse and dynamic show.

Information about upcoming Artist Opportunities
Our annual design challenge to create an original wine label artwork to be featured on the 2025 Carpenter Creek Cellars’ Strawberry Wine. This contest is about celebrating and fundraising for PAC’s Rock the Arts Festival.
For most of our 30 years, the Prairie Arts Council offered an intensive week of summer arts workshops for individuals of all ages in a wide variety of art media. We will be reaching out to potential Teachers in February. If you would like to be a teacher, please reach out to us. Assistants and other Volunteers are always wanted! Volunteers opportunities will be listed in May.
CityBus and The Arts Federation invite Indiana artists to add their work to the pedestrian bus shelters throughout the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette. Artists, 18 and older, are asked to submit examples of their work for consideration of being chosen to produce a custom design for one of 4 bus shelters. This is a paid opportunity. Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $750.
Submissions are due by April 7, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Attention All Artists & Vendors to sell their Fine arts, fine crafts, foods, produce, and collectibles. PAC is accepting artists & vendors for the ART in the Alley held on June 22nd.
12’ x 12’ Booth Fee: $20 for Members, $40 for Non-Members. New vendors must submit a $10 Application Fee with their form. If accepted, they must submit the remaining balance for their booth.
