Pedestrian Bus Shelter Design Competition

Submissions due: April 7, 2025

CityBus and The Arts Federation are excited to invite Indiana artists to add their work to the pedestrian bus shelters throughout the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette. Artists, 18 and older, are asked to submit examples of their work for consideration of being chosen to produce a custom design for one of 4 bus shelters. Artists should submit samples of their work that demonstrate their style, subject matter, and technical expertise. Please do not create and submit original work made specifically for this project. 

Finished designs by selected artists will be transferred to vinyl then adhered to the bus shelters displaying the chosen design. Installation will be executed by trained professionals. Selected artists must be willing and able to work alongside a graphic designer to adjust proportions should that be needed. This is a paid opportunity. Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $750.
