Matting, Mounting, and Framing Workshop

When: Tuesday, November 26, 6:30 - 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 3, 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Where: The Arts Federation (638 North Street, Lafayette, IN 47901)

This matting and mounting workshop will cover topics such as:

• Archival/museum matting and mounting techniques

• Quality of preservation materials (heard of acid-free?)

• Pros and cons of various types of mats will be discussed

• An array of methods and materials used in preservative framing.

Participants are highly encouraged to bring a piece or print to practice with! By the end of this workshop, students will be able to produce a matted piece suitable for framing.

Registration is FREE for TAF members, and $20 for non-members.
