WINE LABEL ART CONTEST
Strawberry Wine Label Design Competition
For Prairie Arts Council’s 2022 Rock the Arts:
What: A design challenge to create an original wine label artwork to be featured on the 2022, 9th Edition of Carpenter Creek Cellars Annual Strawberry Wine, celebrating and fundraising for PAC’s Rock the Arts Festival.
Who May Enter: Prairie Arts Council member artists (only) of all ages
Requirements:
You may use any colorful art medium including but not limited to colored pencil, paint,
pastels, collage, printmaking, digital design, stitchery, embroidery, etc.
Artwork must be in color.
Finished art must be a 2-dimensional work of original art, measuring exactly 4” high x 2 ¾”
wide. Leave at least a 1” margin around all edges.
Your original design and theme should include a focus on a musical and/or art theme that is
uplifting and inspirational. Other images may be included.
Each artist may submit one, two, or three entrees.
Original artwork may be mailed or hand delivered to the PAC office (see details below).
Fee: This competition is free and offered only to current PAC member artist but new members are always welcome. Go to prairieartscouncil.net to subscribe or renew your membership.
Jury Process:
All entries will be carefully considered by a committee of professional artists. One winning entry only will be selected and featured on an edition of 1200 bottles of wine. The Winner will receive a framed wine label that features their artwork. The winning entry becomes the property of Prairie Arts Council and may also be used on promotional materials.
Non-winning submissions will be temporarily retained and exhibited at the 2022 Rock the Arts Festival to be held at Carpenter Creek Cellars on in September. Artwork may be reclaimed by the artists following the festival exhibit. You will receive an email.
