Public reception with Award Ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM.
Celebrating Photography
“Celebrating Photography” is an annual juried show for local photographers. An open reception and award ceremony will be held Friday December 3rd from 6:30 till 8pm.
Current Covid guidelines will be followed.
"Celebrating Photography" Accepting Entries
Drop off up to three photographs to enter the show. Free to PAC members; $10 entry fee for non-members.
2021 Holiday Art Show & Sale
Shop local to do your holiday gift shopping at Prairie Arts Council’s annual Holiday Art Show & Sale. PAC members enjoy private, preview shopping (Friday 5:00PM to 6:00PM) and 10% off all purchases.
The public may shop Friday Nov. 12 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday Nov. 13 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Master Teachers | Master Artists
This special exhibition honors the lifetime service of retired art educators who continue to create. A public reception will be held October 18 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Gallery hours to be announced.
Art in the Park
Art at Tippecanoe River State Park
Since 2016, Prairie Arts Council has collaborated with the members of Jasper County Art League to offer a unique weekend of free art workshops to the public. Funded in part by the Indiana Arts Commission, a group of artist volunteers coordinates and teaches a range of art experiences for people of all ages.

Window Sash Bash
Join the Jasper Newton Foundation in celebrating our restoration projects. Admire the restored windows, Carnegie Center Art Competition winners, and artwork in the Lilian Fendig Art Gallery. Keynote at 3pm. Refreshments will be provided!
ROCK THE ARTS at Carpenter Creek Cellars
The Prairie Arts Council Presents, ROCK THE ARTS 2021 with Carpenter Creek Cellars of Remington, Indiana. Carpenter Creek Cellars will co-host this fundraising event this year, held at the winery on 11144 Jordan Road. Adults are invited to enjoy music, wine, and food from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Enjoy music, wine, food and fellowship!

"Sounds of Harmony" Jasper County Art League Annual Member show
“Sounds of Harmony” is the annual themed exhibition of members of the Jasper County Art League. The show will feature a wide range of two and three-dimensional media. Gallery hours will be announced. A Closing Reception will be held on Friday October 1 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Gallery Talk by Kelley Spurgeon
Kelley will talk about the extensive body of work she has created, currently is on display. She will discuss her technical and creative processes, her overall experience as an artist, and explain her creative philosophy, giving you a better understanding of her work.
Art in the Alley
Prairie Arts Council invites the public to attend a open day of arts and relaxation for all ages to celebrate our downtown. Planned events include:
Art Fair & Market of local artists & vendors featuring fine arts, crafts, artisan foods, produce, and vintage collectibles
Make-N-Take Art Tent featuring tie-dye for families & individuals
Tours of REN ART WALK murals
Live performances by local musicians
Hourly raffles for attendees
Kelley Spurgeon Solo Show
Artist Kelley Spurgeon’s unique artwork will be featured in a solo show. Gallery hours are Tues/Thurs noon to 4:00 PM and Saturdays by appointment made 24 hours in advance by emailing pacrensselaer@gmail.com.

RCHS Studen Art Show (Day 2)
Rensselaer Central High School is hosting its annual Art Show, sponsored by the art department and teacher, Mrs. Kelley Spurgeon! Come support all of our art students and our featured seniors by coming to see their amazing art throughout their years! Displays will be set up throughout the halls of RCHS. Featured artists will be selling some of their artwork.
Art show is open to the public and masks will be required.
Please join us, May 14th, 7pm - 9pm and May 16th, 2pm - 4pm. All are welcome to attend. Thank you!

4TH ANNUAL PAC MEMBER SHOW
The continued purpose of this show is to give PAC artists, from emerging to mature working in all media, an annual opportunity to exhibit their original art in the Lilian Fendig Gallery. The theme will be open with an emphasis on exhibiting your very best original art created in the past three years.
Open April 19th - June 18th, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Noon to 4:00 PM; Saturdays by appointment.
Covid restrictions will be enforced including social distancing and mask requirements.
28TH REGIONAL SCHOOL ART SHOW: Middle School
The School Shows offer teachers and our community the ability to showcase student artists from schools in the Newton and Jasper County region. The shows have been divided into three exhibits this year that show artworks from children in grades Kindergarten through their senior year in high school.
We will also be incorporating a new virtual reception video to view each show. Middle school artists also receive a ribbon, with one artist from each school being selected for the Best of School Award. This is all provided and made possible by a grant from the Jasper Newton Foundation.
Covid restrictions will be enforced including social distancing and mask requirements.
28TH REGIONAL SCHOOL ART SHOW: High School
The School Shows offer teachers and our community the ability to showcase student artists from schools in the Newton and Jasper County region. The shows have been divided into three exhibits this year that show artworks from children in grades Kindergarten through their senior year in high school.
We will be incorporating a new virtual reception video to view each show. The High school show is a juried show with Honorable Mention and Awards of Excellence given to select pieces chosen by a professional juror. This is all provided and made possible by a grant from the Jasper Newton Foundation.

The School Shows offer teachers and our community the ability to showcase student artists from schools in the Newton and Jasper County region.
We will be incorporating a new virtual reception video to view each show. The Elementary artists are each presented with a ribbon for being selected to participate. This is all provided and made possible by a grant from the Jasper Newton Foundation.
